OWNTHEAD sells real advertising inventory. Revenue from each city campaign may be used to purchase the physical advertising placement, production and installation, payment processing, taxes, operations, documentation, future projects, and profit for the company operating OWNTHEAD.

Buying €79 of territory does not mean €79 is wired to a billboard company. You are buying advertising space from OWNTHEAD, the way you would from any media seller, except this one publishes its progress bar.

The build threshold is the minimum sponsorship revenue at which the physical billboard project proceeds: media rental, printing, installation, processing fees, VAT, administration, photography, contingency, and margin. OWNTHEAD is a business. Profit is allowed. Pretending otherwise would be the only actual scam on this page.

If the threshold is not reached by the campaign deadline, the published Refund / Campaign Failure Policy applies.
